There are so many pristine beaches only moments from The Shed.:
Seven Mile Beach/Gerroa Beach is only a 2 minute drive South, an incredible stretch of fine white sand with sheltered rock pools and rolling waves in the Northern corner perfect for the beginner, and when the wind hits down beach watch it becomes a playground for dare devil kite and windsurfers.
Werri Beach, 5 minutes drive North of The Shed is a surfers paradise. Offering fun beach breaks and the protected North and South ends make it a great surfing option in all conditions.
Walker’s Beach is the beautiful and secluded beach the Shed looks onto… you’ll most likely have it to yourself! You just need to walk along the track at the North end of Gerringong Golf Course (about 500 metres from The Shed)

With so many great choices for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner we suggest just a few of the eateries worth visiting.
The Blue Swimmer at Gerroa is a beautiful spot for breakfast right through to dinner, with views of Seven Mile Beach. Gerringong Deli/ Cafe and the Perfect Break Cafe do great coffee and delicious healthy food options. The newest addition to Gerringong is The Hill Bar and Kitchen with exceptional views over Werri Beach and the green hills beyond. Enjoy lunch or dinner and magnificent views at Crooked River Wines and check out Gerringong’s latest brewery, Stoic Brewing.

Farmers Markets are on each week in Berry and Kiama:

The Gerringong Village Market is on the 3rd Saturday of every month located in the town square from 8.30am – 1.30pm.
There are lots of great homewares, clothing and vintage stores in and around Gerringong, wander along Fern Street and pop into Natural Necessity Surf Store, Searching for Sage, Elka’s Garden Florist and a little further away is vintage store Corner D’Or.

There are so many ways to enjoy the beautiful South Coast scenery and stay active at the same time ………the Kiama Coastal Walk between Werri Beach and Loves Bay is 6kms of rugged untouched natural beauty (the entire walk is 22km all the way to Minamurra). There are also walking trails from Gerroa through to Seven Mile Beach, where you can spot dolphins and whales migrating North between May and November.

Feel like exploring…rainforest walks and waterfalls can be discovered only half an hour drive from The Shed. The Minamurra Rainforest loop walk is an easy 1.6 km boardwalk trail under the stunning rainforest canopy which is great for kids. If you are into chasing waterfalls, the spectacular Belmore Falls and Carrington Falls are about a 45 minute drive away.
The crystal clear turquoise green waters of Green Patch are located in the Booderee National Park, arrive early to experience this serene place before the crowds, only 45 minutes drive South of The Shed. Discover the many little secluded beach and bays along the South Coast.

Visit the surrounding towns of Kiama, Berry and Shoalhaven Heads… all only a 10 minute drive from The Shed.
Kiama is famous for its blowhole, right next to the lighthouse, a natural rock formation that spurts sea water 20 metres in the air, wander through the village and stop at Flour Water Salt Bakery or pick up seafood in the boat harbour.
Berry is a delightful historic village, browse the shops along Queen and Albert Streets, stop at the delicious Berry Sourdough Bakery and Cafe, grab a gelato at Illocale or dine at one of the award winning restaurants or wineries.
Shoalhaven Heads is located at the mouth of the Sholhaven River. Enjoy swimming, surfing and fishing. Taste award winning wines at one of the many cellar doors, Coolangatta Estate, Two Figs Winery, or Mountain Ridge Wines.
